THE SNOW - A Text Adventure

For almost a year, every day has begun the same way.
You wake. You feed Felix. You try the Wi-Fi.
Then you step outside and look for someone. Anyone.

But the moment you venture too far from home, the snow begins to fall. At first gently, then harder, thicker, until you have no choice but to turn back.
And tomorrow, it begins again.
You haven’t seen another person in almost a year. No neighbours. No passing cars. No aircraft overhead. The streets are silent, the houses dark, and every attempt to reach the outside world ends in failure.

Something happened.
You remember sirens, the kind you would expect during an air raid.
Then silence.

Then the snow.
Today, you are going farther than the garden gate.
